Potomac Waste Solutions LLC — Dumpster Rental Service Agreement

By placing an order with Potomac Waste Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us"), you ("Customer," "you") agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Rental Period
Each dumpster rental includes a 7-day rental period beginning on the date of delivery. If you need the dumpster for longer than 7 days, additional days will be charged at $20.00 per day. Please contact us to schedule a pickup when you are finished.
2. Weight Allowance & Overweight Fees
Each dumpster size includes a weight allowance as follows:
- 10 Yard (Dirt & Concrete): Flat rate — no weight allowance applies
- 15 Yard: 1 ton (2,000 lbs) included
- 20 Yard: 1.5 tons (3,000 lbs) included
- 30 Yard: 2.5 tons (5,000 lbs) included
If the contents of your dumpster exceed the included weight allowance, an overweight fee of $145.00 per additional ton will be charged to the card on file. Dumpster contents are weighed at the disposal facility and weight tickets are available upon request.
Maximum weight limit: No dumpster may exceed 8 tons (16,000 lbs) total weight. Loads exceeding 8 tons will incur additional fees for overweight hauling and disposal. The Customer will be responsible for all associated costs.
3. Additional Item Fees
The following items are accepted but subject to additional charges:
- Mattresses: $150.00 per mattress
- Tires: $50.00 per tire
These fees will be charged to the card on file after pickup.
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are NOT permitted in any dumpster:
- Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, solvents, oil, fuel, pesticides)
- Batteries (automotive or industrial)
- Propane tanks or pressurized containers
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Medical or biological waste
- Electronics and appliances containing refrigerants (fridges, freezers, A/C units)
- Flammable or explosive materials
If prohibited items are found in the dumpster, additional fees may apply for proper disposal, and the Customer will be responsible for all associated costs.
5. Card on File Authorization
By placing an order, you authorize Potomac Waste Solutions LLC to keep your payment card on file and charge it for:
- Overweight fees (as described in Section 2)
- Additional rental days beyond the 7-day included period (as described in Section 1)
- Additional item fees (as described in Section 3)
- Fees for prohibited items requiring special disposal
- Any damage to Company equipment caused by Customer negligence
You will be notified via email of any additional charges before or at the time they are applied. All charges are final and non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
6. Dumpster Placement & Property Responsibility
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and that the dumpster can be safely placed. The Company is not responsible for any damage to driveways, lawns, or other surfaces caused by the normal delivery, placement, and pickup of the dumpster. If you have concerns about surface damage, we recommend placing plywood or boards under the dumpster.
7. Overfilling
Dumpsters must not be filled above the top rim of the container. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely transported and may result in additional fees or require the Customer to remove excess material before pickup.
8. Cancellation Policy
Orders cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date will receive a full refund. Orders cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee. Once the dumpster has been delivered, no refunds will be issued for the base rental fee.
9. Liability
Potomac Waste Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the rental.
10. Agreement
By checking the agreement box and completing your order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this Service Agreement.
